What is ISSI?

ISSI is an exciting new development in hairdressing. We offer you the choice of the luxury and style of a boutique or the comfort and convenience of a home appointment.

Natalie Shapton

The directress, Natalie Shapton, has worked for many years in leading salons steadily building up a devoted personal clientele. Demand for Natalie became so strong that she eventually decided to commit full time to her private customers. With more customers than she could supply, Natalie established ISSI. Bringing other trusted stylists together she has combined the professionalism of the salon with the convenience and friendliness of home hairdressing.

Home Appointments

Our fleet of customised black minis will bring our mobile salons to you. If you live or work within 10 miles of Hertford town, one of our stylists will be able to come to you. They are fully equipped with professional colours (Schwarzkopf) and equipment as well as retail products (TIGI and Schwarzkopf) which other home hairdressers will not be able to offer.

Because we have a central organisation, you will not be totally dependent on one person - if the stylist you were expecting is taken ill, we’ll be able to offer a replacement immediately. Our stylists have their own set of clients, but they also work as part of an extended team which supports them when they need it.

The Salon

The flagship salon in Fore Street is our central hub of operations. When not flying around Hertfordshire in minis, our stylists can be found in the shop ready for any walk-in appointments.

Our Place in Hertford

We hope we give as much to the town as we take from it – and that is a lot. We are always trying to build links with the community and we constantly strive to fit in with the atmosphere and ethic of Hertford. If you think we aren’t managing this, or you have any suggestions, please contact the relevant person.
